Rye Park Wind Farm - Milestone

Zenviron recently completed the first of 66 turbine foundation pours at the Rye Park Wind Farm project in NSW.

The foundations at Rye Park are designed with approximately 90 tonnes of steel and 650m3 of structural concrete which is batched on site via mobile plants.

First foundation pours are always a great milestone for wind farm projects and a reason to celebrate.

After commencing works on site earlier this year, Zenviron has made solid progress moving over 500,000m3 of bulk earthworks to construct tracks and hardstands whilst recently completing over 20km of local road network upgrades to enable the oversize over mass turbine deliveries.

Works have also commenced on the 330kV overhead power line with the internal HV substations and cable laying also due to commence in the coming month.

This is tremendous progress from the team and all those involved on the project!
