They will go down in Hunter Rugby history as Munza's Babes. 

Merewether Carlton, featuring 11 local juniors, may in their first year in the top grade, are the 2024 premiers. 

The Greens never gave runaway minor premiers Maitland a chance, producing a clinical display to win the grand final 41-25 at a heaving No.2 sportsground on Saturday night. 

A tsunami of Merewether faithful flooded the ground at full-time. The players crowd surfer in true Merewether style as the magnitude of the victory sun in. 

This will be the Green's second premiership in three years.
